Our head office is located in Roberts Creek, British Columbia. Shaffer Canada and the Shaffer Brand celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
Today our name and our brand represent a long list of business investments owned by the Shaffer Family. We take pride in our quality, environmental stewardship and customer service. For 150 years we always have.
The Shaffer family can be traced back to the Ukraine in the 1800's with a successful tailoring business, moving to London, England under duress later in the century as immigrants.
We rebuilt our tailoring business on High Street while living in the poorer parts of London. Once the business was successful again it was sold. From then to now we have worked hard, each generation adding to the last.
Today the Shaffer Brand spans several industries and have won several awards. Some of these include or have included sea farming, land farming, ceramic production, hospitality, digital simulators, patents, digital and canvas art, automobiles, franchises, research and development, conservation, financial services, search and rescue products and drone services, as well as music and music based products.
More than anything we enjoy life, our family and we enjoy business. Our quality products and attention to detail and customer service is testimony to that.
Like many however, Covid hurt our family businesses hard. We are still struggling to make ends meet and supply the staff required to offer our products and award winning customer service, but we are working hard to get back there. We appreciate your patience and hope you continue to Buy BC Made products.
Update. Regarding the office fire and warehouse flood. These unrelated incidents have set our business activities back dramatically. Currently our goods are in safe storage while the spaces are being rebuilt.
